Our unconference starts with a happy hour on Friday so attendees can socialize and get excited about the weekend. Then we kick off our open space bright and early on Saturday morning at 10 AM with a light breakfast. We begin with an opening circle where we lay down some basic rules and set intentions for the weekend. After that, it’s up to the attendees to create a board of meetups, lessons, workshops, and discussions they’d like to host. Once it’s created, attendees are free to do whatever piques their interest.
Lunch will be provided sometime around 12:30 PM to satisfy any hungry bellies, and snacks will be available to grab throughout the day.
We will have facilitators managing our day and letting participants know when classes will be starting and in what spaces. After a long day of tying and discussing, we break around dinner time to recharge for the after party. The after party is a great way to use everything you learned during the day in your play and to get in those social interactions you missed out on. You can expect snacks, bumpin’ music, and an abundance of hard points and floor space.
Sunday is a little more lowkey with a full brunch in the AM. It’s a chance for everyone to chill, continue any conversations they’d like to have, get in a few final classes, and relax as a group. We end around 3 PM with a closing circle and full bellies.
